My Edublog Awards 2009 nominations
I don’t want to miss the opportunity to nominate people I have so much to thank for:

Ken fits into so many of these categories, that’s it’s hard to decide which one to nominate him for. He is an inspiring educator, he is selfless sharer of experience and his knowledge. The blog is extra work in his already busy social, family and professional life, and still, he does a great job with love, honesty dedication many of us admire him for.

Gavin has encouraged, helped and supported educators through his blog, his books, his tweets, his courses, conference talks. He represents many of the disappearing educator characteristics: passion, honesty and dedication.
This is not a definitive list, there is so many more people I should credit for all their amazing work:
What is truly amazing about this list is that 5 months ago I only knew about 3 people on it.

Blimey Tamas,
I’m honoured, I surely am – not just for the lifetime thing (which, apart from being a great accolade, makes me feel very old indeed!), but also for the EduNation part, which has been a huge and rewarding project over the last three years. That’s a hell of a list to be part of – thank you!

Tamas,
Thank you! You’re an incredible friend and support as well! This is amazing that you only knew two and now know most of these amazing people. I had not thought about it but it is the same for me, except I did not know any of them including you. Thank you for pointing out how incredibly awesome social media has been!
